Hello. The world is complicated, and it can be difficult to find an explanation that is detailed, understandable, and willing to show its sources. We are preparing free courses to help with that.

Why we want to teach
In the short time we have been building Sential, we have had to learn through internal setbacks and through a world that does not slow down for anyone. AI, technology, and events beyond technology affect everyday decisions. Yet confident claims can travel faster than careful explanations. We have seen people repeat things that sounded right but did not survive a closer look. We have done that ourselves, too.
A useful course should give you more than a conclusion. It should explain the terms, walk through the evidence, show where uncertainty remains, and give you enough context to keep learning on your own. That is the standard we want to work toward.
Free means free
Our courses will be free to read, and we intend to keep them free. The first course, The evolution of AI, is still in preparation, so there is nothing to enroll in or purchase today. As we publish, we expect to cover deep dives, shorter explainers, and lessons that make difficult topics easier to approach.
People learn in different ways. We plan to add read-aloud support so a lesson can be listened to as well as read. Some courses may use interactive elements or videos where those formats actually help explain an idea. We will show what is available on each course page as it is released.
Show the work, invite corrections
We intend to research and check the factual claims in every course, include sources, and revise lessons when evidence changes or we discover an error. No small team can promise never to get something wrong. What we can promise is to take corrections seriously and make them visible in the material.
If you find a claim that looks wrong, please contact us with the course title, the claim, and a source we should review. We want our courses to improve through that process. And please keep doing your own research, whether you start with a book, a paper, a person, or an AI tool. Check where an answer came from before you rely on it.
A pace we can sustain
Our goal is to release a course each week once publishing begins. Some weeks we may miss that goal. We are a small group with work, families, and limited resources, and a careful lesson can take longer than expected. We would rather tell you about a delay than publish something rushed and call it finished.
