Sential Innovations: technology meant to be understood.
Sential Innovations, known as Sential, works across AI, software, hardware, and robotics. Our current focus is Kova, the Deriva model series, and research. We are a small team sharing the work as it develops.
What we are trying to do
Technology companies often ask you to take them on faith. Bold claims, vague product pages, and logos that imply customers who were never really there. We do not want to be that kind of company.
Our work is in early stages, and we will say so. Deriva-1 is in active development; Hikaru-1 and PICO-1 continue at a reduced pace; Arcus, Nero, Hirose, OBIKI, Yuki, and Photon are concepts; Kova is in internal beta with no public access; Verplex is cancelled. We would rather show you the real state of things than dress it up.
The thread running through all of it is a single idea: that technology is better, more useful, and more trustworthy, when it is understood. Our models are trained to learn from explanations. Our products are built so you can see what they do. Our writing is plain. None of that is revolutionary. We just think it is right.
How we are organised
Sential Innovations is the main company. Sential is its short name. An earlier plan for a separate parent company and several divisions has been set aside so we can focus the work.
Where Palladium fits
Sential's Palladium continues as internal security work in the background, helping us review and protect the systems we build.
Our focus now
Our near-term work is Kova and Deriva, with Hikaru and PICO moving at a reduced pace. The other model series remain concepts. Plans for Sential STAM, Sential Health, Sential Games, and other divisions are not active projects.
